The wind let her hair dance free,

Her eyes lit up with glee,

Ready to face the reality.


Standing tall like a tree,

Undefeated against the roaring sea,

Stood erect with true morality.


Not just a shopping spree,

Or just another chatty bee,

So dare not question her sanity. 


Saw the whole world in plea,

The empowered she,

Showed up to rescue the humanity.

In today’s fast paced world, I believe we tend to forget to live for ourselves. We are pushed and forced to run with the pace, and so we do. But honestly if we think, what are we going to gain for pushing our lives like this? Are we seizing the day? Are we making it count? Are we living it to the fullest? Every night before you go to bed, is there something special your mind alerts you, that you could have done? Or even you should do in the future? I’ll tell you, that is your heart’s desire, which is something you should chase after. The world has been running at its fast pace chasing money, fame and comfort for long and it is not under our control. It was something that stirred up a bunch of realizations when I watched the Ted talk of Joseph Annamkutty Jose. He is a reputed RJ as well as a public speaker and more beyond, he’s a person who is exceptionally adept in stimulating the mind and heart of people through his spellbinding words. Each and every second of his discourse was flourished with unique ideas and influential stories. “An extra eye, an extra ear and an extra heart” revolves upon the very miniscule or unnoticed events that can change the whole course of action in one’s life.
