OH School By Sandra Santhosh

" The past is a candle at great distance; too close to let you quit, too far to comfort you"

As children we always wanted to grow up fast but there comes a day that you will realise that income homework and broken toys were far better than unfulfilled dreams and the world outside. The school days are an epilome of innocence and naivety and we didn't realist it until we weren't a part of it anymore! Sitting  back and reminiscing those memories does send us back  to the memory lane.

We used to fight for silly things with our friends. Our fights are either for the window seat or for pencils, pens etc. Recess which was our favourite time period in school always seemed to be very short. In those days we hate our school as it was responsible for our busy life. Then when we pass out from our school, we then keep watching it and starts recalling all the fun, that we did on those days.

Think of a day alone at our school, years after you had stepped off from there. You and your school life alone in this big world.... There will be a thousand of stories that the school may tell you;about your past life with it. Even the walls and the pillars seems to speak to you a lot. Make a walk alone in your classrooms. Years seems to step back to those olden days. You might see your old friends there.... falling into sleep at the bench, some in wonderlands, some engaged in telling gossips, some throwing dusters at each other.... even the chalk and black broad make you remember of those days. You may hear sounds of your teachers and footsteps of your principal.... Tears will roll down your eyes that you had lost all those forever....!!

There is no greater sorrow than to recall a happy time when miserable'.So one day all those moments will become sweet memories of our life. These moments are so beautiful that they make our eyes wet with a smile when we recall it.
