Why do I read- by Fathima Heena Hasmi

Just imagine two complete strangers meeting for the first time and being close real quick. That’s how it happens when I gets a new book. It is like saying “hi/hello” when we start reading the introduction part. You gets to know it very well when it reaches the body part. Everything just flows and you become really curious to know the climax. This is the time that we lose ourselves.  The ending part might be happy or not. But these are the ones that we all crave for. The kind of feeling we have when we gets a new book each time, is just magical.

For most of the people, the love story between them and books begins during childhood by reading fairy tales or fables. As we grow up, our mind accepts that those were all imaginations and not real. But for a good reader, each time s/he sinks into a book, s/he forgets themselves and floats in an imaginary world.

Apart from all these pleasures, the habit of reading has various benefits including improved communication skills, better writing skills, better morals and values, better vocabulary, healthy and stress-free mind, good entertainment, great motivation, good new ideas, problem solving skills, strengthened world view, and the list goes on. Moreover all these, reading is one of the coolest hobbies ever.

Read good, feel good:)
