To be a beam of light by Sanjana Saji Nair

When the world says give up,  hope whispers......try it one more time. We tend to believe that in this too often dim world, love and hope ceased to exist making it even much dull. Society always Lee's at us and forms a cloud over our head which drains away our morale. But there is always a someone who bring hope to the tormented mind and stimulate them to persuade their goal. Here Luz Long had lay hold of a beam of light within him which he shone on Jessie Owens when he tripped on his path. With a smile of reassurance he wiped out all of the tension that was there between him and Owens. More than a fierce opponent, he acted as a friendly fellow competitor and drove him out of the crisis he was facing at that moment.

When we possess a ray of hope within ourselves, it's light penetrates the darkness that engulfs us. For this we need to fill our inner self with these qualities because it is impossible to pour from an empty cup. Self-empowerment is an essential factor when it comes to influencing others. To be truly empowered means we have the ability inside ourselves to know what is really best for us, thus being able to highlight our attributes. Among everything hope is the greatest treasure we can ever find for ourselves, and it is the most precious gifts we can give to someone else. Hope provides us with motivation to persevere. It calls us to dream dreams of significance and influence. It begs us to work diligently with optimism and promise.

It is always said to surround ourselves with people who speak confidence in our life and to nurture healthy relationship with them so it's better for us to become as optimistic like that and believe in true potentials. Being our true self and still being able to cheer for the ones in need of a hand is what encouragement is about. They say good people are like candles, they burn themselves to give others light. Luz Long in a way sacrificed his first position for Owens by giving him more confidence. We should learn to be a light of hope in the darkest moments of someone's life; it is what gives life its deepest significance.
