Triumph with talent , excel with effort-Gouri R

 What is competence?  It's not just the ability to tackle your opponent and win but rather building up confidence in them to fight. It is the duty of a true companion to ebb their opponents fear for failure and make them realise that they can compete until they  decide to give up. The nationality, gender or race of a person never matters in front of his /her ethos to triumph the unjustifiable social customs and treatments. 

In his autobiography "My Greatest Olympic prize" Jesse Owens states these assumptions as real truths by unleashing his experience during the time of Berlin Olympics ,1936.The Olympics was truly meant for the exposure of Aryan supremacy under the guidance of Adolf Hitler. He proclaimed the winners will be of his race ,thus provoking Jesse Owens to prove the fact that what matters in competition is talent. But however fear always exist everywhere and it started carving out his confidence too. He was even more frightened with the performance of his  Aryan opponent Luz Long.  But paradoxically,  the only  factor that made him prove his point and win the Olympics was Luz Long.He who believed that competence in its real spirit is encouraging his fellow companion to fight made Jesse Owen to win his greatest achievement for lifetime that is their friendship.
