He kept his silence
While the world ridiculed her
While her dreams where shattered
While she was beaten and dragged along the street
While she was burned alive and raped and killed
All he did was keep quiet and watch in silence as it happened.
 
He finally raised his voice
When she dared to dream
When she expressed her desire to fly
When she decided to break the shackles cast upon her by the world
That’s when he broke his silence
To keep her dreams, her desires and her aspirations fastened and forgotten.
